Linux is an operating system the same as Macintosh or Microsoft Windows but with one big difference. All software and updates are free and you can guarantee that you'll not get a virus. You get Internet, Office, Graphics and whatever you did with Windows without having to upgrade nor pay for costly hardware and software licences.

Networks
We'll talk about joining all those machines together, making them secure and having some fun in Internet and chat. Or not as the case may be in Business. This is where Linux really shines and it all comes for free, something that would cost you several hundred if not thousands of Euros under any other system. We'll be looking at a Client Server Linux system. One computer, usually the most powerful, is designed to serve other client computers on a LAN (local area network). Your work is stored centrally on the server and you use a client computer to access it
A server can be a very simple computer or it could have many jobs running on it such as serving your own website, a MySQL server, NFS (Network File System) server or just be used simply as a firewall keeping all the clients attached to it safe. Monitoring what others are doing and restricting which websites they are allowed to use during work hours is yet another function of a Linux server in a network.
We believe that we are the only company in Spain offering true web filtering. And that that service is only available to the chosen few. Fed up with your employees wasting your time? Get a true representation of the sites they visit, when, where and at what time.
For these reasons it is very difficult to give pricing for Linux networks as each installation will be different. Our price promise of 30 Euros per computer still stands, however an estimate of the total cost must be made on site unless starting with new computers.
